UNCT in Montenegro

UNCT and National Response to HIVAIDS

Through this project, the UNCT through its HIVAIDS Theme Group engages in:

  1. evaluating the implementation of the Montenegrin national HIVAIDS Strategy,
  2. facilitating the Universal Access Document; and
  3. improving human rights situation for people living with HIV(PLHIV). 

The project lasts until December 2007, with an operating budget of $83,340 ($75,000 UNAIDS Programme Acceleration Funds (PAF) funds and $8,340 inter-agency cost sharing).

As part of improving human rights situation of people living with HIV, UN Theme Group on HIV/AIDS produced human rights cards for PLHIV both in Montenegrin and English language.
