Beginning of “Dinaric Arc”, joint initiative of  WWF, UNESCO/ROSTE, IUCN, Council of Europe and UNDP

“Dinaric Arc” Initiative developed and launched by the WWF, UNESCO/ROSTE and IUCN through the seminar in Montenegro, organized by UNDP LO in Podgorica is establishing cross-borders, international partnership between the most important international institutions involved in biodiversity protection, promoting and advocating for the concept of sustainable use of natural resources in the Dinaric region.Durmitor

In the seminar, “Dinaric Arc” Initiative was presented, as well as the ongoing projects in the Dinaric region. Partners in the Initiative also discussed further development frame for the cooperation between the creators of the initiative and partnership with regional UNDP, Council of Europe offices and other organizations and defined concrete activities that partners individually or jointly will promote and implement in the future.

Seminar was opened by Mister Miodrag Vlahović, Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Government of Montenegro.
